Creators

Online training is often created through collaboration between subject matter experts, writers, learning designers, and other stakeholders. To support this, you can invite other creators to your workspace to help build and share training.

With Coassemble, there are no limits on creators.

You might invite creators if:

• Your course has multiple content contributors.
• Someone is responsible only for sharing/distributing your training.

How to add (invite) creators

You can invite creators either from Settings (recommended for ongoing management) or directly from the workspace dashboard.

Option 1: Invite creators from Settings (recommended)

Step 1: Open Settings

From your workspace dashboard, select Settings on the left-hand side. This opens the Settings modal.

Step 2: Open the Creators tab

The Settings modal opens on the Profile tab by default. Click Creators to open the Creators tab.

Step 3: Add email addresses

Click Invite creators, then enter the email address(es) of the people you want to invite.

Tip: Add multiple email addresses by:

• Separating them with commas, or
• Pressing Enter after each email

Step 4: Send the invite

Click Send invite. Each invitee will receive an email invitation and can create an account to access your workspace.

Option 2: Invite creators from the main dashboard

1. From your main dashboard, click Invite creators (top-right).
2. In the Creators > Invite window, enter one or more email addresses.
   • Separate multiple emails with a comma, or press Enter after each one.
3. Click Send invite.

Invitees will receive an email notification to join your workspace.

Creator permissions

Creators can:

• Create, edit, and share all courses in your workspace
• Access all course insights

Creators cannot:

• Invite new creators
• Change your plan or payment details
• Configure allowlists
• Access your workspace API key

Delete a creator

How to delete a creator

1. In the Creators list, select the three dots next to the creator’s name/email.
2. Select Delete creator.
3. Confirm by clicking Delete again.

What happens if I delete a creator?

When you delete a creator:

• The deleted creator will no longer have access to your workspace.

Workspace ownership

Can I transfer ownership of my workspace?

Yes. You can transfer ownership to another creator who is already in your workspace:

1. In the Creators list, select the three dots next to the creator’s name/email.
2. Select Transfer ownership to.
3. Confirm the transfer when prompted.

Common questions

When I delete a creator, does their content stay in our account?

Yes. When you delete a creator:

• All content they created remains in your workspace (courses, materials, and other contributions).
• Only their access is removed.

However, if you delete the entire workspace, all content is removed and you will lose access.
