Asset library

The Asset library is a central place to store, tag, and reuse your images and media across courses.

The Asset library (previously the Image library) stores and manages your media in one place, so you can reuse branded photography, graphics, and other files across courses. Anything you upload to a course, or use from Unsplash or GIPHY, is added to it automatically. It lives inside the Brand kit.

Access the Asset library

  1. Select Brand kit on the left-hand side of your screen inside your workspace.
  2. Select Asset library.
  3. To add files, select Upload files and choose them from your device. You can upload several at once.

Edit an asset's details

Adding details makes assets easier to find and improves accessibility:

  1. Find the asset in the library and click the three dots in the top-right of its card.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Update the title, add tags to improve searchability, and set default alt text (important for accessibility and screen readers).
  4. Save your changes.

Setting default alt text once means you don't have to re-add it each time you use the image.

Delete assets

  • One asset: hover over it, select the three dots, and choose Delete.
  • Several at once: hover over each and tick its checkbox, then select Delete in the bottom-right.

You'll get a warning before anything is removed. Deleting an asset can't be undone.
